Mike Jupp Website

Mike Jupp is a renowned Artist, illustrator, Writer and Animator. Famous for his work on the Wombles, Dreamstone, and his highly intricate, and very funny jigsaw puzzles.

As an artist himself, Mike wanted control of the design process for his website so commissioned me to build to his specifications.

If you think all websites need to look the same, work the same and feel the same with WordPress, you couldn’t be more wrong.

We worked together to achieve a look that Mike is happy with and that functions responsively on different devices.

Because of the intricate nature of Mike’s artwork I added a zoom feature for his illustrations so that viewers can fully enjoy the detail of his work.

Nothing about this website is out of the box. Mike likes to add different fonts, add unusual layouts and even different style of menus on various pages. All of which require coding and the skill to push WordPress past its usual boundaries.
